Embroidery Needles

These are embroidery needles that are also known as crewel needles. They have a large eye intended to fit your embroidery thread easily and to poke a large enough hole in your textile so not to wear down your thread from abrasion when sewing. 

These needles are made in England and are a dream to work with. 

I started sewing at a young age, cutting and hand sewing endlessly. I learned what worked partly through trial and error, but mostly from a patient mother and grandmother.

When it comes to what size and kind of needle works best, it really is almost a formula of the combination of the thread, fabric, and style of sewing that you intend to create. 

To save you a few decades of non stop experimenting. I came up with a few different combinations that work beautifully with my patterns.
